<p>The present invention concerns a ceramic vessel for a microwave oven, and a method for manufacturing the same. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: mixing ceramic powder (10), 10 wt.% flake graphite (20; HK-19S) and a predetermined ceramic adhesive (30) to form a compact in the shape of a vessel (100); and sintering the compact to bind the ingredients together. When exposed to microwave radiation, this ceramic vessel can generate high heat to rapidly cook food, and restrict moisture evaporation to improve the taste and nutritional value of the food. In addition, the ceramic vessel can be easily manufactured and thus provides the advantages of increased productivity and reduced manufacturing cost.</p> |
