<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image of high contrast by increasing the brightness of the entire screen with a small amount of data when an object emitting light is displayed on the screen. <P>SOLUTION: This image generation device developing an object disposed in a virtual three-dimensional space onto a two-dimensional plane to generate a two-dimensional image has: an object data storage part 2201 storing a light emitting object that is a light source of the emitted light; an object arrangement part 2203 arranging the light emitting object in the virtual three-dimensional space; an emitted light representation processing part 2204 performing image representation processing for representing the emitted light on the two-dimensional image; a negative light setting part 2205 setting a light of a negative value darkening an area as a shadow of the emitted light on the basis of a viewpoint of the virtual three-dimensional space; and a rendering part 2206 performing rendering based on setting information of the light of the negative value and image representation information of the emitted light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
