<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for allowing a user to easily checking information stored in a recording medium even when information is backed up in a plurality of recording media, from a storage area of an information recording device. <P>SOLUTION: A video camera device 100 includes: an HDD 127 for storing a plurality of contents and content identifiers assigned to the plurality of contents in ascending order and uniquely identifying the contents; and a CPU 120 for backing up the plurality of contents in a recording medium in ascending order of the content identifiers, and storing, when the back-up is completed or interrupted, content identifiers corresponding to last one of contents which have been backed up, as backup media list information in the HDD 127. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
