<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing capable of suppressing the damage of an oil film on the raceway surface of a race caused by the contact of the axial end surface of the pillar of the cage on raceway surfaces of races while the bearing is rotated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This thrust roller bearing includes: a plurality of rollers 10; both inner and outer annular portions 21, 22; and a cage 20 having pillars 24 which connect both the annular portions 21, 22 to each other and demarcate pockets 23 for rollingly holding the rollers 10. Sloped surfaces 26, 28 tilted in the circumferential direction are formed on axial both end surfaces of the pillars 24 of the cage 20 in such a manner that the inlet side of the bearing in the direction for drawing lubricating oil is increased between the raceway surfaces 32, 37 of the races 30, 35.
