摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system, a coordinate input device and an electrooptical device that can be constructed at low cost and compactly by simplifying the configuration of an optical position detection means. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system 10 includes: a light guide 13 having a light entrance surface 13a on which light is incident and a light exit surface 13e adjacent and perpendicular to the light entrance surface; an illuminating light source 11L opposed to the light entrance surface so that its optical axis points in the light entrance surface; position-detecting light sources 11A-11D each opposed to the light entrance surface so that their respective optical axes point in the light entrance surfaces 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, respectively; and a circuit board 12 extending along the light entrance surfaces 13a-13d and having both the illuminating light source and the position-detecting light sources mounted thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
