<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily know a correspondence relation between equipment displayed in an equipment list and actual equipment connected to a network. <P>SOLUTION: When a correspondence relation between equipment displayed in an equipment list and actual equipment connected to a network is indefinite, a test image is transmitted, and the output of the test image is verified, so that the correspondence relation can be verified.
