It is provided with a substrate (101), first-nth information layers (102-104) (n is an integer of 3 or more) that are laminated on the substrate, kth intermediate layers (105-106) (k = 1, 2 through n-1) that are provided between the kth information layer and (k+1)th information layer, and a protective layer (107) that is provided on the nth information layer. The width of variation in thickness from the protective layer surface (107a) to the respective information layers (102-104) is ± 3 µm or less with respect to the mean value of this thickness in the region with a radius of 23 mm to 24 mm from the center of the photo-information recording medium.
