<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system reducing a drawing load of a passage switching valve while securing sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The passage switching valve 4 in the gas exhaust system has: a housing 21; a valve element 24 opening and closing a valve opening 51 formed in the housing 21; and a rotary shaft 23 rotatably supporting the valve element 24 on the housing 21 side. The valve opening 51 is opened and closed by abutting or separating of a rim 26A of a valve body part 26 provided in the valve element 24 with respect to a valve seat part 52 of an valve opening 51 upstream end. One of the valve seat part 52 or the rim 26A of the valve body part 26 forms a conical taper face, the other forms a spherical taper face, and a working face angle being an angle between an axis of the valve opening 51 and the valve seat part 52 is set at the optimum value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
