PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can stably form excellent images by reliably and appropriately supplying lubricants to the surface of the image carrier. SOLUTION: The image forming device forms electrostatic latent images by the latent image forming unit 13 on the surface of the image carrier 10 electrified by the charging unit 12, supplies the developing agent containing toner and a first lubricant x1 to the surface of image carrier by using the developing roller 11a provided in the developing unit 11 to form toner images on the surface of the image carrier, transfers the toner images formed on the image carrier to the transfer medium 15 by using the transfer unit 16 after supplying the first lubricant, and then, supplies a second lubricant x2 scraped off by the turning supplier 31 from a solid lubricant 32 to the surface of the image carrier after transferring by using a second lubricant supply means 30.
