PURPOSE: A camera module with a dust trap surrounding effective pixels of a image sensor is provided to protect effective pixels from foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor(102) is loaded on a board(101) changes an image signal to an electric signal. A housing is combined with the board to protect the image sensor from outside and matches an optical signal to optical axis of the image sensor. Tacky dust traps(106a,106b) are stick to the outside of an effective pixel unit(105) of the image sensor to prevent that foreign materials in the housing drop/spread to the effective pixel unit.
