PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present related information imparting surprise to a user while maintaining relevance to certain information.

SOLUTION: This related information presentation method includes: a link information application step of applying any one of a plurality of pieces of link information stored in a link information storage means for storing the plurality of pieces of the link information each associating one or more pieces of information and one or more pieces of information to select information related to given information; an information acquisition step of acquiring information that is a base point; a related information selection step of selecting, by repeatedly executing a related information selection step a plurality of times, information indirectly related to the information acquired in the information acquisition step; and an information presentation step of presenting the information selected in the related information selection step to the user.
