<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that facilitates a restoration process for the apparatus even if a recording sheet is not conveyed properly, and makes it attainable to implement a series of printing operations in a short period of time as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a recording medium feeding means for feeding a recording medium to a prescribed conveyance path; a conveyance means for conveying the recording medium, fed from the recording medium feeding means, on the conveyance path; a conveyance status detection means, disposed on the conveyance path, for detecting a conveyance status of the recording medium; a control means for controlling operations of the recording medium feeding means, the conveyance means, and the conveyance status detection means; and an accommodation means for accommodating the recording medium. The control means controls the feeding of the recording medium with the recording medium feeding means and the conveyance of the recording medium with the conveyance means on the basis of a detection result of the conveyance status detection means, thereby discharging the recording medium present in the image forming apparatus to the accommodation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
