摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of accurately detecting defective pixels such as the defective electron discharge pixel of a cold cathode array and the residual charge pixel of a photoelectric conversion film, and to provide an imaging apparatus capable of accurately performing electron discharge control and imaging data interpolation processing on the basis of the information of the detected pixels. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A positive potential relative to the potential of an electron discharge source array is impressed to an intermediate electrode provided between the electron discharge source array and the photoelectric conversion film, and there is provided an intermediate electrode current detector for detecting a current flowing to the intermediate electrode. The intermediate electrode current detector detects an intermediate electrode current corresponding to the respective electron discharge sources in synchronism with clock signals for point-sequentially scanning respective electron discharge sources.
