<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of suppressing play in the circumferential direction with excellent connecting work efficiency between a hub ring and an outer joint member of a constant velocity universal joint. <P>SOLUTION: A groove-ridge fitting structure M for closely adhering all fitting contact portion regions of a ridge part 35 provided in either one of a shaft part 12 of the outer joint member and an inner diameter surface of a hole part 22 of the hub ring 1 to be axially extended and a groove part 36 closely fitted to the ridge part 35 in the other is constituted by press-fitting the ridge part 35 to the other along the axial direction and forming the groove part 36 in the ridge part 35. A shaft part coming-off prevention structure M1 is provided between the shaft part 12 of the outside joint member and the inner diameter surface of the hub wheel 1. A shaft part coming-off structure M1 is provided between the shaft part 12 of the outer joint member and the inner diameter surface of the hub ring 1. The shaft part coming-off prevention structure M1 is a hooking structure constituted by plastically deforming a cylindrical part 66 provided at a shaft end part of the shaft part 12 radially outward by oscillating caulking by an oscillating caulking tool 67. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
