PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for creating parts catalog which refers to catalog data stored in a server (a parts catalog creating apparatus) connected via a network through the use of a terminal used exclusively for browsing even when a network band is narrow, and to provide a method and program for creating parts catalog, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The parts catalog creating apparatus includes: a bounding box information creating part 24 for creating bounding box information of specified parts in two-dimensional image data of a unit constituted of a plurality of parts, based on three-dimensional model data of the unit; and an alternative parts data creating part 26 for creating alternative parts data where information concerning the plurality of parts constituting the unit is associated with the bounding box information of the plurality of parts.
