PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for adjusting a recording misregistration, and to reduce an amount of a recording medium needed for a pattern recording. SOLUTION: The present invention records at first a pattern for determining whether a recording position is displaced, and only when it is determined that a recording misregistration exists, a plurality of patterns are further recorded for acquisition of an adjustment value.
