PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse display unit that eliminates a place to enter a lock state, does not limit a stop position of a leaf, and eliminates the need for a component for rotation prevention, and is easy to handle. SOLUTION: The reverse display unit includes a shaft 5 suitable for a center portion of a gear storage recessed portion of one base plate 3 having the gear storage recessed portion formed on a chip side inner wall surface of a channel-shaped base body and a chip side of the other base plate 7, a gear 6 fitted in the gear storage recessed portion, a rotary body 10 suitable for the shaft on the side of the other base plate, a plurality of leaves 15 fitted rotatably to the rotary body and gear at equal intervals with pivot pins provided at center portions of both ends and performing reverse display, a motor 18 for driving a drive gear 20 rotating the gear, a plurality of arcuate guide grooves formed on a leaf side surface of the gear such that the pivot pins of the leaves are in the center, and a pin wheel inverting mechanism comprising at least two pairs of guide pins formed on end surfaces of the leaves and a gear portion protruding into the gear storage recessed portion.
