PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zero reset type numbering device eliminating the defects of existing manual numbering devices wherein a long time is required because a thin bar or the like is used to rotate a wheel piece by piece and character by character in one direction (in a direction of 1→2→3→to→7→8→9→0) to adjust a seal position to zero in order to reset zero in the following operation after terminating the numbering operation of accumulating figures one by one, and the operation is troublesome because the numbering device is turned upside down to confirm irregular wheel numbers and then figures of all digits have to be made zero. SOLUTION: The numbering device adjusts all the wheel figures in the seal positions of the respective digits to zeroes which have been made irregular by the seal operation of the continuous numbers of figures by performing one rotation of a numbering wheel support shaft 5 provided on the other side part of a frame 2 and extended outward from a long opening 4.
