<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic feeder and a recorded material carrier device, capable of correcting skew of a recorded material without causing a roller trace or a flaw by slip on the recorded material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A feeding roller 74 is supported on a base 701 of the automatic feeder 70 so as to be rotatable and displaceable in a direction crossing a feeding direction Y. A coil spring 77 is provided in a contracted state between spring stopping members 771 and 772. A feeding roller shaft 741 is energized in a direction of getting close to a right edge guide 73. A "displacement mechanism" for displaying the feeding roller 74 in a direction of separating from the right edge guide 73 includes a cam groove 744 provided in the roller shaft 741 and a cam groove guide 78 to be engaged with the cam groove.
