<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost means by which, from a substance containing Sn, Pb and Cu, Pb is separated from Sn and Cu. <P>SOLUTION: Treatment where a substance containing Sn, Pb and Cu, e.g., dross generated in a Pb refining stage is immersed into a sulfuric acid aqueous solution containing a soluble chloride in which hydrogen ion concentration [H<SP>+</SP>] and Cl<SP>-</SP>concentration are controlled in such a manner that Sn and Cu are selectively leached, and also, the leaching of Pb is suppressed. In particular, a solution satisfying the following conditions can be used: (a) that the amount (mol) of Cl<SP>-</SP>in the solution is≥two times the amount (mol) in the substance to be treated charged to the solution; (b) that the Cl<SP>-</SP>concentration is≤1.3 mol/L; and (c) that the hydrogen ion concentration [H<SP>+</SP>] satisfies 1.0 mol/L≤[H<SP>+</SP>]≤3.5 mol/L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
