In an example N,N1 di - n - dodecyl - N,N1 - diisopropylthiuram disulphide is made from N- isopropyl-N-dodecylamine and CS 2 ; other products are specified, and may be made by methods used for the known lower homologues of these compounds. The compounds are vulcanization accelerators.
