PURPOSE: A sliding type reading lamp is provided to control an illumination angel and an illumination direction by freely rotating a head with an optical source. CONSTITUTION: A body(2) has a reception space. A guide groove is formed to a longitudinal direction of an inner wall of the reception space. A switch is installed on one side of the body. A connection bar is inserted into the body. A head(6) is hinged with the other side of the connection bar. The optical source is arranged on the head. A slider(3) is movably inserted into the guide groove of the body. The rotation unit is formed on a front part of the slider.
