<p>PURPOSE: A method for preparing lipophilic VItis vinifera extract is provided to use as excipient of a cosmetic composition containing lipid phase. CONSTITUTION: A lipophilic Vitis vinifera extract is obtained by extracting lignum of the Vitis vinifera such as buds, stem and roots with non polar solvent. The Vitis vinifera is species such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Syrah, Semillon or Sauvignon. The non polar solvent is cyclohexane, C6 or C7 alkan such as n-hexane or heptanes, supercritical or subcritical. The extraction temperature is 15°C to 18°C. A cosmetic composition contains lipophilic Vitis vinifera extract. The composition contains one or more fatty phase. The composition is used for care of skin, lip, or integument, or make-up. The composition is used in the form of lipstick or mascara.</p> |
