PURPOSE: A graphic user interface display method of a television is provided to selectively display a state GUI corresponding to a changed program mode or system mode when the program mode or system mode is changed, thereby preventing the state GUI from hiding an important screen. CONSTITUTION: Change of a program mode or a system mode is determined(S30). If the program or the system mode is changed, a display of a state GUI(Graphic User Interface) according to the change of the program mode or the program mode is determined(S40). A GUI setting table is offered to a display unit according to an external input signal if the state GUI is set in a display limit state. A display of the state GUI is set(S51). |
