PURPOSE: An operating input device for reducing input error and information device operation apparatus are provided to prevent the input error by detecting the position of fingers. CONSTITUTION: A finger position area extractor(11) extracts the finger domain image from the image of the camera(5). A finger-tip position detector(13) detects the finger tip position based on the finger domain image. An image synthesizer(15) synthesizes the finger domain image. The image synthesizing area superposes the finger domain image on the menu image. The finger tip position detector acquires the finger rear area image as the difference between the movement image of the finger domain image and the finger domain image.
