<p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for dynamically setting a paging group are provided to maximize receiving efficiency of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: Idle mode state entry of a specific terminal is checked(S500). A service grade of the terminal or whether a dynamical paging group setup service is subscribed are determined(S510). A paging group which is not set among all paging groups is searched(S520). The searched paging group which is not set is set as a paging group of the terminal around a specific base station requested to idle mode from the terminal(S530). A plurality of sub groups is set in a newly set paging group(S540).</p> |
