APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MIDLET SUITE MANAGEMENT USING DRM IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for MIDlet suite management using DRM in a mobile communication system are provided to prevent the malicious damage and loss of files of MIDlet suite. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting terminal downloads a JAD(Java Application Descriptor) file(310), and the OAM DRM(Open Mobile Alliance Digital Rights Management) file for the JAD file is downloaded(320). The right object for the OMA DRM is downloaded(330), and the transmission terminal performs the installation of JAVA(340). The JAD file is inserted into the OAM DRM file(350), and the OAM DRM file into which the JAD file is inserted is transmitted to a receiving terminal(360).
