PROJECTION DISPLAY APPARATUS

摘要

PURPOSE: A projection display device for reducing speckle noises is provided to reduce speckle noises of an image projected to a screen by using a plurality of laser sources per one color and perpendicularly polarizing beams outputted from each laser source. CONSTITUTION: An optical modulator(430) modulates a luminance of a beam. A plurality of laser sources(400,405) respectively outputs beams with different polarization directions. A lighting system lens group(420) passes each beam to same location of the optical modulator with different incidence angles. A projection lens(440) condenses modulation beams modulated and outputted from the optical modulator. A plurality of slit irises(450) passes a part of the modulated beams. A plurality of polarized filters respectively performs filtering with different polarization directions.
