An apparatus for photocopying information existing on both sides of a duplex document, using dual scan of a transparent sandwich platen. Duplex copies of the document document to one side of the copy sheet, and then transporting the copy sheet within the apparatus to apply a print of the second side of the document to the reverse side of the copy sheet.
