Provided is an isolated nucleic acid molecule that encodes a heavy chain, a light chain or both of a human antibody that specifically binds domain 3 of interleukin-l receptor type 1 (IL-IRl). Further provided are corresponding antibodies, methods of producing them and use of them in the manufacture of medicaments for IL-1 mediated diseases.
