<p>The device for automatic correction of the flexible transmission element of a hand brake in motor vehicles includes a control lever (1) connected to a handle or similar control device of the hand brake, which is linked to a pulling bar (2) featuring the possibility of a relative mutual shift in the required direction, by which at least one flexible transmission element is connected, in particularly a Bowden which enables the transfer of the force from the aforementioned handle to the readily available braking element, particularly the brake pad. The control lever (1) and the pulling bar (2) are by their free ends (10, 20) located in a non-crossing position in particularly approximately parallel. On each of the aforementioned free ends (10, 20) of the bars (1, 2) there is at least one fixing element (11, 23). On the pulling bar (2) there is a bracket (21) which the pulling bar (2) is running through and which on its transverse axis (22) features a rotationally attached matching element (23) which is in the area of its throughhole (230) applied to the control lever (1) and adapted to fit to the fixing element (11) on the free end (10) of the control lever (1). Apart from that there is on the pulling bar (2) between the fixing element (25) on the free end (20) of the aforementioned bar (2) and the bracket (21) in a partly compressed position an integrated pressure spring (28). By this, the hand brake of a motor vehicle provides a simple method of ensuring a permanent strain of the flexible transmission element despite the phenomena of air gap due to its expansion or wear of the brake pads after a certain period of use of such a brake.</p> |
