AUTOMOTIVE BUMPER BEAM UNIT

PURPOSE: A vehicle bumper beam unit is provided to improve the shock absorbing performance of a bumper beam by dispersing the impact transmitted from a bumper cover to the bumper beam evenly. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle bumper beam unit(10) comprises a bumper beam(1), a stay, a corner reinforcing panel(7), and a bent shaped reinforcing pipe(9). The bumper beam is composed of a front rail(3) and a rear rail(5), and arranged along the width of a vehicle. The stay fastens the bumper beam to the vehicle body. The corner reinforcing panel is welded to the front and rear sides of both ends of the bumper beam. The reinforcing pipe is welded to the front rail inside of the corner reinforcing panel.
