The device has a block i.e. cube, including an elongated funnel-shaped recess at an upper side for receiving pelvic- and thigh areas (12) and a torso area (11) of newborn or toddler, where the funnel-shaped recess is formed as a baby trainer. A base area of the block is large, such that the block is stable during application, where the block is made of flexible material i.e. foamed plastic. Surfaces of the device are conditioned in such a manner that the surfaces are easily cleanable. An outer edge of the funnel-shaped recess is circular in shape.
