#CMT# #/CMT# The system (10) has flat transparent glass plates (24) arranged at a distance from an under-roof structure (12) and partially provided with planarly formed solar cells. The solar cells are made of light-sensitive semiconductor material i.e. high-purity amorphous silicon, that converts photons into electrical voltage. A part of the glass plates is formed as a laminate that has a hardened front glass comprising a layer of plastic embedding compound i.e. ethylene vinyl acetate, under an anti-reflection layer. A rear wall foil is protected under the glass plates. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Roof system for a solar system for photovoltaic generation of electric current and/or for heating a flowing medium i.e. air stream (claimed) for obtaining useful heat.
