PURPOSE: A composition containing chlorogenic acid for treating choroidal neovascularization is provided to prevent side effects and apply to a patient having choroidal neovascularization. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing choroidal neovascularization contains chlorogenic acid, its pharmaceutically acceptable salt or its derivative. The chlorogenic acid is derived from apple, pear or peach, coffee bean, cacao bean, grape seed or artichoke. The composition further contains pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and anti-inflammatory agent or anti-oxidant.
