In at least one embodiment, the present invention relates to a method and system for supercritical removal of an inorganic compound. The method includes: bringing a fluid including one or more inorganic fractions at supercritical conditions; separating at least one of the fractions in the fluid; cooling and/or depressurizing the fluid; and removing the at least one separated fraction.
