PURPOSE: A tact switch and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent deformation of a knob by enhancing the coupling force between a lower case and a cover. CONSTITUTION: A lower case(10) includes a terminal(11). An electrode plate is formed on the bottom of the lower case. A contact is installed inside the lower case. A dust tape is used to cover the contact. A knob(50) is mounted on the lower case on the dust tape. An upper case(60) covers the edge of the lower case. A cover(70) covers the outside of the lower case. The lower case is made of liquid crystal polyester. A square groove is formed from the upper side of the lower case. A protrusion band is formed on a frame of an upper side of the lower case. A coupling protrusion(14) is formed on both sides of the lower case.
