PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a living body optical measurement device to measure brain function with light ranging from visible to near-infrared light, that general measurement is composed of repeated stimulus presentation and relaxed time and allows a subject to predict next stimulus during relaxed time and to unconsciously get ready for the stimulus, which could affect on the result. SOLUTION: Realizing two kinds of random functions on setting measurement parameters solves the problem that the subject could predict the stimulus. Firstly, variable relaxed time prevents the subject from predicting a timing of next stimulus start.
