The assembly (1) has a piston rod (7) led out from a cylinder (2) concentrically to a central longitudinal axis (A) of the cylinder at an end (3) lying opposite to another end (5). A positioning device (12) is arranged in the cylinder, and another positioning device (13) acts on a piston (11) from a side. The positioning devices have prestressed spring elements (27), and the piston is provided in its resting position during balancing of force of the piston rod. The positioning devices are provided at the piston in a force-free manner.
