<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression supporter compressing the patella ligament of a wearer and holding the kneecap of the wearer to favorably fix the knee joint. <P>SOLUTION: The compression supporter includes a body made of stretchable raw material and having a shape attachable to the knee of the wearer, wherein a low-stretchable area having a stretchability lower than that of the body is disposed in the body to support the knee joint and the tendon of the muscle via difference in stretchability between the low-stretchable area and the body. The supporter has a front-face suspending area 22 formed in the front face of the body into an almost U-shape surrounding the lower part of the kneecap to pressurize the patella ligament as the low-stretchable area.
