The invention relates to the oil-refining and petrochemical industry, more specifically to processing of oil, including heavy oil, oil-refining and petrochemical residues, coal, schist, natural products and other hydrocarbon liquid, solid and gaseous media, hereinafter row material, for the subsequent advanced treatment thereof, and can be used for producing a hydrocarbon fuel and petrochemical products. The invention makes it possible to increase the yield of light desired products up to 100%, to simplify and reduce the cost of the process and facilities for processing raw material, to reduce operational and capital outlays and to simultaneously achieve the high-degree subsequent treatment. The technical result is achieved by a process in which the raw material and a catalyst do not come in contact, thereby preventing the catalyst from being contaminated with detrimental impurities and becoming coked and consequently makes it possible to extend the catalyst service life and avoid the use of regeneration processes. The high degree of processing up to 100% can be achieved according to the inventive method owing to the second, possibly repeated treatment of the raw material or the heavy portion of separated reaction products.
