<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure for a solenoid with easy assembling of the solenoid superior in anti-theft effect of an automobile, and a steering lock device using the fixing structure. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing structure for the solenoid has: the solenoid 220 provided with a mounting part 221; a body 10 attached with the solenoid 220 having a fitting part 60 moved/fitted with the mounting part 221; and a fixing plate 70 for restricting movement of the solenoid 220. The fixing structure is made to a fixing structure that the solenoid 220 is fitted to the fitting part 60 and the fixing plate 70 is covered by other parts in the state that movement is restricted by the fixing plate 70.
