PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel snap ring pliers reducing a load on a worker and easily detaching and attaching a snap ring. SOLUTION: The snap ring pliers 10 include: a pair of tip sections 1a, 1b inserted into the holes of the snap ring; a pair of grip sections 3a, 3b on the opposite side; and two body sections 2a, 2b extending therebetween. The body sections 2a, 2b are rotatably locked in the crossing state. When the grip sections 3a, 3b are grasped, the distance between the tip sections 1a, 1b is reduced. A rod 6b extending on the body sections 2a, 2b and between the locked position 4 and the tip sections 1a, 1b is secured to the body sections 2a, 2b. The rod is fixed at any distance between the fixed positions of the rod to the body sections 2a, 2b by lock members 6a, 9 fitted to the rod.
