<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for reducing jerkiness deterioration contained in a motion picture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a motion vector generation processing part 140 which generates a motion vector from a motion picture recorded on a recording medium 200; a typical motion vector generation processing part 170 which determines a typical motion vector; a motion pixel determination processing part 180 which determines a motion pixel; and a motion blur addition processing part 150 which adds a motion blur according to the generated motion vector. The processing part 150 adds blur by using the typical motion vector close to the motion vector as a reference vector, whereby a motion picture further naturally reduced in jerkiness effect can be output.
