<p>The device comprises a virtual recording device setting means that sets, from the work memory of a CPU, a region of at least the size, or greater, of a control program as a virtual recording device, a USB management means that, after a USB mass storage function has been executed, recognizes the virtual recording device as a recordable device for a PC while not recognizing a recording device as a recordable device, a recording means that records to the virtual recording device a control program that is input, and a transmission means that stops execution of the USB mass storage function after recording of the control program to the virtual recording device is completed and that transmits the control program from the virtual recording device to a memory that is used to store the control program.</p> |
