PURPOSE: A lantern displaying a map is provided to input new map data by connecting a memory with the map data to an external USB memory. CONSTITUTION: A GPS module grasps a current position of a lantern(100) by analyzing a satellite signal offering the position information. The memory stores the map data including geometrical information. The controller calls the map data near the current position of the lantern from the memory. The controller combines the information about the current position of the lantern with the called map data and converts the map data combined with the position information of the lantern to an image signal. A project unit projects an image signal outputted from the controller on a screen(10). A USB port is installed in the memory. The controller performs a control operation to store the map data inputted from the external USB memory connected to the USB port in the memory. |
