PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of being used for a long period of time without fear of damage by increasing bending strength and twist strength and improving impact resistance by integrating a large number of carbon layers prepared by alternately laminating a solid core material comprising a glass fiber material or a carbon fiber material with a raw carbon fiber. SOLUTION: The fishing rod comprises a taper shaped solid core material, a normal direction-inclined carbon layer and a reversely inclined carbon layer, wherein the taper shaped solid core material is formed of a glass fiber or a carbon fiber and has a diameter slowly decreasing along the longitudinal direction, the normal direction-inclined carbon layer is prepared by winding and laminating the raw carbon fiber on the solid core material in 30-50° to the longitudinal direction, and the reversely inclined carbon layer is prepared by winding and laminating the raw carbon fiber on the normal direction-inclined carbon layer in 30-50° reversely to the longitudinal direction with symmetrical to the raw carbon fiber in the normal direction-inclined carbon layer.
