<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass or glass-ceramic article comprising a decorative layer and a sealing layer. <P>SOLUTION: The two layers are produced by a sol-gel process and contain at least a filler and an inorganic pigment and it is possible for the pigmentation of the decorative layer and the sealing layer to be the same or else different. In order to achieve good adhesive strength and the impermeability of decorative coating, certain composition rules in regard to the quantity and kind of the inorganic pigment used must be observed and, surprisingly, the sealing layer is different from the decorative layer. Furthermore, the glass or glass-ceramic article having the decorative coating produced particularly according to the method is suitable especially for use as glass-ceramic cooktops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
