PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy object lifting device allowing a worker to easily lift up and move a heavy object even in an inclined place with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This heavy object lifting device includes a frame 2 provided with a handle part 17 at a rear end, a right arm 25 provided with a right claw part 21 at a distal end, a left arm 26 provided with a left claw part 22 at a distal end, and an arm support member 16 in which the right arm 25 and the left arm 26 are rotatably and pivotally connected by a pivotally connecting bolt 23 with disposing the right claw part 21 and the left claw part 22 opposite to each other. The heavy object lifting device includes a holding part 3 mounted at a distal end of the frame 2, a grounding leg part 5 provided to project downward on a lower side of an intermediate part of the frame 2 and capable of supporting the whole as a fulcrum of a lever by grounding, and a wheel 7 mounted closer to the handle part 17 than the grounding leg part 5 and made movable by floating the grounding leg part 5 when grounded.
