ELECTRONIC SUPERVISION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

Provided are an electronic supervision system and a method thereof. The electronic supervision system comprises an attachment device, a tracking device, a monitoring device, a position-calculating device, and a server. The attachment device is attached to a target object and the tracking device, which communicates with the attachment device. The monitoring device which is separated from the object is able to communicate with the attachment device, and the position-calculating device calculates the current position of the object based on position information obtained through at least one of a satellite and a mobile communication network. The server is able to communicate with the tracking device and the monitoring device and receives from the position-calculating device the information related to the current position of the object. The current position of the object can be calculated through the position information obtained from a satellite or a base station, therefore the object to be monitored can be supervised based on more accurate calculations related to the position of the object.
